Privacy Isn't a Feature.
It's the Foundation.

Mood Map was designed from the ground up to prove that technology can understand communities without surveilling individuals. Every architectural decision serves your anonymity.

50m Location Fuzzing

Your exact location is never stored. All coordinates are randomly offset by 50 meters before they ever touch a database.

K-Anonymity Enforced

Every heatmap cell requires a minimum of 5 posts before data is displayed. No individual can ever be singled out.

AES-256 Encryption

All data encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. Military-grade protection for civilian data.

24-Hour Data Expiry

Mood data automatically expires after 24 hours. Connections expire after 7 days. No permanent emotional profiles. No data hoarding.

No Personal Information

No names, no emails, no phone numbers. Mood Map uses anonymous IDs only. There is no personal data to leak because none is collected.

No Data Sales. Ever.

Your emotional data is never sold, shared, or monetized. No ads, no data brokers, no third parties. This is a civic tool, not a business.

Why a Presidential Candidate
Built an Emotional Map

Politicians make decisions based on polls taken weeks ago, focus groups of 12 people, and lobbyists who don't represent you. I wanted to build something different—a tool that lets leaders see how communities actually feel, right now, without anyone having to give up their identity.

Mood Map is proof that technology can serve people without exploiting them. That's the kind of government I want to build: one that listens at scale without surveillance, that understands without intruding, and that acts on real data instead of donor agendas.
